The game includes 1 Character Card, 1 Character Mover, 2 Character Tokens, 5 Action Cards, 2 Location Cards, a Die, 6 Influence Loss Tokens, 3 Location Markers, a High Ground Marker, and instructions. Note that both Dark and Light Side packs are required to play, and each is sold separately.
To start playing the Star Wars Rivals game, first, you need to buy both a Dark Side and a Light Side Character Booster Pack as they are sold separately. Once you have both packs, open them up. Inside, you'll find all the cards and tokens you need. Take out the Character Card and the Character Mover to represent your character in the game. Use the Action Cards to perform different moves during the battle, and the Location Cards to set the scene. The Die is used for random events. Keep track of your Influence Loss Tokens as you play. Place the Location Markers and the High Ground Marker on the playing area according to the game situation. Follow the instructions carefully to understand how to play. When you're done playing, make sure to store all the cards and tokens in a safe place, like a card box, to keep them in good condition. Don't bend or damage the cards, and keep the tokens organized so you can easily find them next time you want to play.
